576 Express Entry and Occupation in-demand candidates invited in latest SINP draw for Canada PR Visa

Province of Saskatchewan held its latest provincial draw on February 27th, to invite candidates who have applied for a provincial nomination for Canada Permanent Resident visa through Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

Candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) with SINP’s Express Entry and Occupation in-demand categories were invited in the latest draw. With the help of the EOI system, SINP invites immigrants that have the potential to thrive in the province.

Interest immigrants who want to live in the province of Saskatchewan have to submit an EOI profile by submitting their credentials like work experience, age, language ability, age, and connection to Saskatchewan. Based on SINP’s International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid, candidates’ EOI profile is awarded points out of 100. Highest scoring profiles in the EOI pool are then issued invitations through frequently held express draws.

The minimum score required in the latest provincial draw of Feb 27 was 69 points for both sub-categories: Express entry and Occupation in-demand.

To receive an invitation from the province of Saskatchewan, the candidate does not require a job offer. But they are required to have a minimum of one year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation that must be related to their field of study.

In the latest, 301 invitations were issued to candidates who had a valid profile in the federal government’s express entry pool. SINP’s Express Entry sub-category is line with the Express entry program that manages the profiles of the skilled immigrants who have applied for Canada PR Visa through Canada’s three skilled major economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

For Express entry candidates they have to submit an EOI with SINP and must score a minimum of 69 points in SINP’s Point Assessment Grid to be selected in the draw. If an express entry candidate is able to get a provincial nomination certificate, they are awarded major 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. These many points effectively guarantee that the candidate gets an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

SINP’s Occupation in-demand sub-category is for the immigrants who do not have an express profile. In the draw, a total of 275 occupations in-demand candidates were invited.
